Teresa is a licensed veterinarian with over two decades of clinical expertise who has developed innovative resources for veterinary professionals across Canada and successfully founded award-winning businesses with a team of 17. Her multidisciplinary expertise spans veterinary practice, strategic marketing, self-publishing, and business operations, making her an invaluable resource for organizations seeking transformative results in their communication strategies and business and leadership development initiatives.
Elaine Scriven CVPM, BA
Elaine is a certified veterinary practice manager with over 30 years of experience in the veterinary industry. Passionate about leadership, communication, and team development, she specialises in building cohesive, high-performing teams and creating positive, engaging clinic environments. She brings energy, clarity, and connection to every clinic she supports, helping veterinary practices thrive from the inside out.

Our Story
Chatter Paws was born from a shared passion – AND A LOT OF LAUGHS – between two veterinary professionals who just got it. Teresa and Elaine’s paths crossed on a project that brought together their mutual love of team development, problem-solving, and all things pets. What started as a casual collaboration quickly grew into a deep professional respect and an easy, natural friendship.
Over countless chats, they realized veterinary teams needed more support, especially when it came to communication, leadership, and culture. So, they rolled up their sleeves, combined their skills, and launched Chatter Paws Communications – and brought their shared vision to life: helping veterinary teams thrive by improving how they connect, communicate, and grow together.
